Working from home these days like lots of people, I just wanted to send out warm wishes and thoughts to everyone.
My team and I are currently busy preparing our next mission in Egypt, which is planned for the fall. In the meantime, our research and the study of discovered objects goes on. You can find here some impressions from past expeditions in Egypt.
Our exhibition at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum (Simi Valley, CA) has closed and is currently dismantled under the compliance of the health guidelines. As soon as lockdown measures will allow, the exhibition will be installed at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA. Meanwhile, you might like to have a look at past exhibitions on our website.
You can also read some further thoughts on «Why are we so fascinated by ancient Egypt?».
I also recommend the following article on the website of our loyal long term partner the Hilti Foundation: http://www.hiltifoundation.org/en/Fascination-underwater-archaeology
Take care, stay at home if you can and keep yourselves healthy.
All best wishes,
Franck
