A group from the IEASM recently met with colleagues of the Egyptian Department of Underwater Antiquities in order to set up a new warehouse in Alexandria. A huge number of objects, approximately 35,000, had to be moved and arranged anew. Thanks to this cooperative effort there is now much more space for the storage, conservation and study of all the artefacts we excavate during our missions. To give you a first impression of the new location we have assembled a short slide show of the moving days for you.
